EDUCATION :

Centuries ago, Denizli Alim Merkez Efendi made the pioneering of contemporary education in which girls and boys were educated together. With the merger of private enterprise and the entrepreneurship of Denizli people, Denizli province has made great strides on the way to becoming a global city by breaking the crust.

Denizli has not avoided any sacrifice in education to be able to deliver his future to safe hands and to educate his children in the best possible way. Thanks to these efforts Denizli is above the average of Türkiye regarding education level.

With the transition to the 8-Year Continuous Compulsory Primary Education application, the contributions of the philanthropists of Denizli have reached extraordinary levels. Since 1973, the campaign to build a school on behalf of the company and private enterprise has been increasing day by day.

PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION:

This training, which constitutes the first step of the national education system, covers the education of children who have not reached the primary school age. The number of schools providing pre-school education is 147. The number of teachers is 196, and the number of students is 3493.

PRIMARY EDUCATION APPLICATION:

In Denizli province, training was initiated smoothly with 4923 teachers and 105.448 students in 34 primary schools in 18 counties and the central district.

GENERAL HIGH SCHOOL:

Anatolian High School, Private High School, Science High School and its secondary schools. There are 1063 teachers in 41 schools, and 19,774 students are in training. High school is a school that covers the education of children aged 15-17.

VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL:

It meets the needs of humankind equipped with professional and technical knowledge and skills in accordance with economic, social cultural and technological developments in service and production areas of the country. There are 1219 teachers in 48 schools, and 16577 students are in training.

PRACTICAL GIRL ART SCHOOLS:

The number of schools is 11. In addition to the girls' vocational high school teachers, 12 teachers work in other independent schools. The number of students is 1714.

APPOINTMENT TRAINING CENTER:

The number of centers 6, the number of teachers 172, student (apprentice) 3993, assistant master 1871, master 491.

SPECIAL TEACHING:

There are 17 schools and about 6500 students.

UNIVERSITY:

Due to its internal dynamism, Denizli and its immediate surroundings, which have been in a rapid development process since 1980, have shown a very successful development. Pamukkale University was established on July 3, 1992, by a high level of education, research, orientation, technological knowledge and equipment which emerged as a critical necessity in parallel with this development. The University has provided a stable source and strong solidarity, especially in the areas of Engineering, Science, Literature, and Economy. Until the rector's appointment on November 10, 1992, education was provided under the name of Pamukkale University in the form of two faculties and two colleges, Faculty of Medicine and Engineering, Education and Vocational Schools, which are affiliated with Dokuz Eylül University. Today, Pamukkale University conducts education, research, consulting and application functions with its regular and secondary education programs in six faculties, eight colleges, and three institutes. Pamukkale University aims to raise quality human resources and to raise international standards as well as to participate in initiatives that contribute to the development of the Denizli region.
