Geographical Structure



 

Denizli forms a gate between neighbouring regions.

Çameli, Kale and Beyağaç districts have Mediterranean climate while Buldan and city centre have a terrestrial climate. Therefore, the flora is affected accordingly.

Denizli borders Burdur, Isparta, Afyon on the east, Aydın, Manisa on the west, Uşak on the north and Muğla on the south.

It consists of %47 mountains, %28 meadows and %2 plateau.

The coordinates of Denizli are 28 0 30' - 29 0 30' meridian east and 37 0 12'- 38 0 12' parallel north.

Denizli is usually under Mediterranean atmospheric pressure. The acreage of it is 11868 km2, and population density is 64. It is 428m above sea level.
