to mint bronze coins. There are ruins of a Roman Bath and an Ottoman

CEVHER PASA MOSQUE
The Cevher Pasa Mosque, which is in the Tabae Ruins on the route of
Denizli-Mugla Road, is rectangular planned and the last congregation is
placed on the north side and the minaret is placed on the northwest side
of it.
There are four windows on the east and west, two windows on the north
side each of the Harim. The vertically formed windows, which are
surrounded by hewn stone, are decorated by blank arch. The seat of the
minaret, which is next to the last congregation place, is raised up to
the same height of the mosque’s roof level. From the comb part of the
first minaret balcony of the hewn stoned tower is covered by metal cone
and given a prodigy view.
The mosque’s harem is separated by two columns which are consisted of
four wooden each into three parts. There are antique composite capitals
on the columns which are coloured by pen made technique. The mahfil
which is carried by the six wooden column is placed on the north side of
the Harim. These columns are decorated with the other columns of the
Harim.
The Mihrap which is as a niche has a curtain and the mizan balance is
performed on it. A triangle frontal with vegetal motif on the mihrap is
performed. The panos which are bespangled by texts and vegetal
geometric motifs are made by the circular and square colours on the wall
of the Harim. There are six wooden columns in the last congragation
place which is closed to outside then. There are passings by stairs to
the mahfil both two sides of the last congragation place. A passing from
the last congragation place to harem is supported by a door with a
circular arch. 1235 of the hegira is read on the door above.
There are text panos on the wall besides. The building has a folding
roof and covered by Marsilya tile. The folding roof is used to protect
the building in the following years although the flat tile was the
original cover of the building. Huge gaps occured because of
uncarelessness of the Mosque which is moved to another place. The Cevher
Pasa Mosque which was built in 19. century in Otoman Period by pen made
bespangled, will be in a bad condition in the following days unless the
roof is repaired.
