Turkish Cuisine in Denizli is very satisfying for a variety of
tastes. It particularly consists of different vegetables, particularly
aubergine. Dried and stuffed aubergines and aubergine pancakes, cowpeas
with sauce made with vinegar and walnuts, and fresh salads are very
common.
Tarhana soup (a preparation of yogurt and flour dried in the sun), cowpea soup, and ovmac soup are local soups.
Tas Kapama Kebab, meat with vinegar, several stuffed vegetables, and grilled tripe are favorite meat dishes.
Pies and desserts are typically Aegean. Using home made dough (sipit) is very common.
Fast food culture is growing among citizens of the city as the city grows.
